Marvin's words on the album
The creation of our songs felt like a profound gift from Raphael, my soul brother with whom I shared an unbreakable musical bond. Raphael tragically passed away a few years ago in an accident, and coping with his loss was one of the hardest challenges I've ever faced.
The journey of this album began with the bassline for "Alone Together." After a long hiatus from music, driven by the unbearable grief of losing someone so dear, I felt an unexpected and deep connection to Raphael. It was as though he was playing through me, guiding my hands. This was especially remarkable because, until that night, I had never played bass before.
That night was an extraordinary experience, one like I had never known, and it was through this profound connection that most of the songs on this album came to life.Creating this album has been a deeply personal and transformative experience, one that allowed me to feel close to Raphael once more and channel his spirit into our music.
